Eternal Marriage

I thought I would share something that is so very important to me. I was married for time and all eternity to my kind husband last summer. We were married in the Mesa, Arizona Temple, where my parents were married 35 years ago. I am so glad I chose to marry someone with whom I share so much. I appreciate his depth and desire to do good in the world. Each day is a learning experience and I am grateful I get to learn with and from him. I look forward to our many wonderful adventures together.

I enjoyed designing my bouquet, although, to be totally honest, I would recommend a fake bouquet. I had both, and the one with fake flowers was much lighter and looked just like real flowers.
I love flowers. These smelled so good! I would definitely recommend using stock as a flower if you like fragrant aromas, our florist did a wonderful job.

Our wedding was so fun to plan, especially getting to design the wedding cake.

Today was a beautiful day. I mean it was gorgeous...the mid '70's. I went to check on my plants outside. To my surprise I found about 20 peas that have sprouted--some where I accidently dropped them on the ground. Wow! That was cool! I get so excited about planting and watching things grow. A loving God created this world, I have no doubt. He placed all of us here to enjoy and take care of it. I love to help his creations grow.

My Favorite Places

Here are a few of my favorite places. Just looking at the pictures brings back happy memories of adventures, friends, and experiences that altered the course of my life. I love the beauty of the natural world.

Nature

I really enjoy art. Here are a few of my latest favorites:

Spring Gardening

It's my first time growing my own garden and I am so excited! I love gardening. I never thought it would be exciting to get up each morning and see how much the seeds I've planted have grown. It is a process of trial and error, I love learning. I've planted carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers, garden beans, peas, strawberries, watermelon, onions, lettuce, and I am sure other things that aren't coming to mind. It is so fun!
